Great 1 night stay in a lodge with a hot tub. Really spacious, well designed accommodation. All Kingslze beds and ensuites. Lovely living area with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nice deck area with hot tub and outdoor seating. Gorgeous lakeside views and walks on your doorstep. Would highly recommend a Sunday night stay as nice and quiet and relaxing. Cannot comment on fishing aspect but there are many lakes and it was very well organised and run. Owners were incredibly responsive. Highly recommend a stay here. Thank you for your hospitality 🤩

Wonderful stay! We had a great experience from start to finish. The view from our lodge - wow! Goregous interior, very clean and modern and a stunning balcony with a hot tub ready to go at all times. Our stay was made extra special by Laura who put a bottle of bubbles and soft toys for our children in our lodge as a surprise for us! 10/10 all round! We will be coming back that's for sure.

Stayed for one night 18th August. Beautiful place to stay.......there is a but. Grass pitches, without hook up are a bit far from the toilet block, so we used the fisheries toilet down by the cafe. BIG mistake, there is a sign stating leave the toilet block as you'd expect to find it, are you kidding me, there was faeces running down the toilet and generally very unclean. The main toilet block was clean...ish, but without any toilet roll in cubicles. Overall okay, but cleaning isn't a priority.

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a fishery. I paid my money expecting a relaxing fishing trip and instead felt like I was being harassed. The fishery itself is decent, but the attitude of some staff completely ruined the experience. I was constantly questioned, challenged, and made to feel unwelcome. A bailiff followed me to my campsite to argue about night fishing and then kept coming back throughout the night. Instead of letting paying customers enjoy their session, it felt like he was determined to find a reason to cause problems. The reception experience wasn't much better. I had already paid for fishing and still had time left on my ticket, yet when I went to sort things out I was basically told I couldn't fish. It felt like helping customers was the last thing on anyone's mind. I've never been made to feel so unwelcome at a venue where I was actually paying to be there. There is a huge difference between enforcing rules and treating customers like they're a nuisance. The lakes may be good, but the way I was treated means I won't be rushing back. If customer service and respect matter to you, think carefully before spending your money here.
