The apartment sits in Earl Shilton, a town with roots in the Domesday Book, now mixing heritage with modern facilities. A pub is within a mile's walk. For days out, Hinckley and Leicester lie a short drive away—Leicester holds the King Richard III Visitor Centre, medieval Guildhall and cathedral; Hinckley has its own museum and parks.
