There is field where you can camp whether a campervan or towed caravan. The toilet and shower block are clean and kept tidy. There is a cafe and the food is always good. They also sell some fishing tackle products and bait. The lakes are amazing and easy to fish. Well kept surroundings.

Very friendly. Quiet when I went but it is April. Lovely lakes to walk around and lots of birds. Nice breakfast. Peace was a bit broken by the guy mowing the field but he has to do it at some point. The only complaint I have is that I had to press the button in the shower approximately every 10 seconds for the water to keep coming out but that's not enough to remove a whole star! I saw a water vole swimming in one of the lakes! I stayed on my way up to and back from Yorkshire for a family visit and will stay again next time.

Site is ok. Mainly grass pitches. £12 a night for electric hook up!!! On top of pitch price!!!, I thought was a bit extortionate. Where most sites I have been too it would on be a couple of £’s per night on top of pitch fee. Fishing lakes looked good, (there is an additional fee for fishing £13 for 2 rods!)but fish weren’t interested in any bait I tried. No sign of any fish cruising around on the day I went. Caravan & camping fields were spacious, so plenty of room for children to play their outdoor games. Expensive compared to other sites that have more up to date facilities and good fishing for less £.
