Alder Lodge

Alder Lodge is a converted rural property in Breckland, set next to the owner's farmhouse but completely separate and private. The building contains one bedroom upstairs and all living spaces on the ground floor, sleeping four with a zip-and-link super king bed that splits into singles on request, plus a sofa bed suitable for children. An ensuite bathroom has both a bath and separate shower cubicle; heating and hot water are oil-fired, and essentials including wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard.

The open-plan living area centres on a woodburner with a 55-inch Freeview TV, and the kitchen is equipped with a double electric oven and hob for proper cooking. Outside, decking and garden furniture surround the private hot tub, which holds four people. Parking is available for two cars, and one well-behaved pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted indoors.

Norwich lies within reach for medieval architecture, museums and independent shops in the Lanes, while the North Norfolk coast is under 45 minutes away—beaches, salt marshes, Blakeney Quay for crabbing, and Cromer's famous pier among them. The Mid Norfolk Railway runs heritage trips closer by. This setup suits couples, small families or groups wanting genuine seclusion with modern comforts.
