High Farm Barn

Photo: Dave white

Walking through the entrance to High Farm Barn, you step straight into an open-plan living room and kitchen. The space is generous and practical, with a fridge, cooker, dishwasher and laundry facilities on hand. From here, a door leads into a separate dining room, and a further door opens to the first bedroom—a double—with its own bathroom featuring a bath and shower. Upstairs, the second bedroom holds a double and two single beds, plus an ensuite with bath and cubicle shower, making it easy to manage a family or group without morning queues.

High Farm Barn sits in grounds near Stanfield village, surrounded by the kind of quiet lanes that suit cyclists and walkers. A pub and shops lie within a mile or so. The Norfolk coast—Holkham, Hunstanton, Wells-next-the-Sea—is within reach for a day out, as are Sandringham, Norwich and Fakenham's racecourse. Bed linen, towels and wifi come as standard, along with heating through the colder months. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. There is a pond in the grounds, and the property is non-smoking.

Lovely location a great size adapted barn, upstairs bedroom runs the length of the building and can easily accommodate more than 4 people or larger family. The owners were fantastic, v friendly and couldn't do enough through our stay and quickly handled any niggles. Great for walks and nice and peaceful, would definitely recommend.
