This was our 5 time staying at the racecourse always friendly and very helpful would recommend a stay here . Great facilities easy to reach shops allin all a very good site .we will return in 2026 .

Very friendly helpful staff. Generously proportioned pitches with hook ups. The shower block and toilet facilities are modern and very clean. Advertise as dog friendly, but most places have signs saying 'no dogs', however there are fields where dogs are allowed and lovely walks nearby. 10 minute walk into a lovely little town with shops and a couple of nice pubs. All in all, this is an excellent value site

After reading the reviews online about how great the facilities are at Fakenham race course we thought it would be a great place to stay. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and the pitches were generous, however we had to move pitches as our 15m lead would not reach the nearest electric point, something that should be mentioned when booking. Most caravans motor homes were using extension leads with their hook up. However we were really disappointed with the facilities, or lack of them. Fakenham is a large site and can accommodate a lot of tents and vans, but the main toilet block only has 3 showers which isn’t enough. The toilets were only cleaned once a day, which for the volume of traffic flowing through them is not enough. I would often find myself having to go back to our tent and wait for the queue to die down before being able to use the toilet. Operating a one in one out during busy periods is not great and only cleaning them once a day only added to the issue. Fakenham is a nice site in a great location to explore North Norfolk however the toilets and showers let them down. More facilities are needed to accommodate the number of guests.
