Baileys Barn is a single-storey conversion on a working farm near Dereham, sleeping up to six across three bedrooms. The property suits families wanting ground-floor living without stairs, or groups needing straightforward accommodation away from the main farmhouse. One dog is welcome. Everything happens on one level: a living and dining room with television and DVD player, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, three bedrooms (two doubles and two singles), and a bathroom with bath and shower.
The barn sits within shared grounds that include an indoor swimming pool, fishing on site, and a children's play area. You have your own patio with garden furniture for eating outdoors, plus parking for three cars. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided; heating is oil central. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The farm is in Breckland near Foxley, a quiet setting for anyone wanting to base themselves outside Norwich without being remote. Note that unfenced water features lie roughly 100 yards away in the grounds, and the property operates a no-smoking policy.

Moor Farm Cottages is a great location for a holiday, break or retreat. It is very well located, to Norwich, coastal towns and villages and more. The barns are lovely, spacious, well laid out and attention to detail has been applied in maintaining it's barn feel. Other than it's comfortable accommodation and location, the setting and amenities are also a bonus. The barn cottages are located in the lovely village of Foxley. The site hosts a beautiful swimming pool and a joyful little park. The local church is also picturesque and Foxley wood is a haven. Entering the glade, you can see the hamlet of Foxley in the landscape yonder. The owners also made checking in and out such an ease. And the locals were lovely also, with a local couple personally identifying us a being lost on the first day, and leading us to where our cottage was. Just for information, the location of Bailey's Barn on Google maps is incorrect. It is located off Chapel Road East.

We left here today after a few nights away, myself my mum and daughter. On first impressions a lovely little farm cottage, roomy and clean. We booked through cottages.com place was clean and tidy and spacious my daughter of 2 loved running around. The grounds were lovely as a working farm a bit noisy but that's to be expected. We mainly used this as a base and spent most of our time off the grounds. The swimming pool was lovely just what was advertised aswell as the little park, that was a little run down but used what we could. Overall a lovely little place to get away from the bustle of life. Downsides would be due to working farm it is a bit noisy and the bedrooms had a ceiling window which would let light in early. I would come back again.

I booked this place as it suited our accommodation needs. 3x double beds and at least 1 single. (The old workshop actually has 2 singles in one double room!) When I read the description it came with access to a swimming pool too. Winning!! Arrival arranged through WhatsApp which I really didn’t mind as was able to share with the rest of the family. My 5 year old daughter was the only child in the group and she has said that this is the best place for her! Swimming pool was available from 9-11 and 4-7. The property is situated on a working beef farm which is perfect for my Dr Doolittle 5 year old. She loved visiting the cows, donkeys and goats, plus the visit from the cats! The play park was very well equipped, swings, climbing frame, slide, trampoline, sunken tyres for climbing, absolutely spot on. We all commented on the fact that given this is a working farm we did not smell or hear the animals at all To get around Norfolk you are going to have to use transport as the farm is situated in a peaceful village and no transport links. It was about 15 mins to Fakenham, 20 mins in to Dereham, about 30 mins to Huntstanton. This was no problem for us. We stayed in the Old Workshop. This was plenty big enough for the 5 1/2 of us. The kitchen was a big size, the showers were powerful and hot. Property had washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, TV (we didn’t use this as we were too busy!) enough towels for everyone and all beds fully made up. The property could benefit from a little TLC but certainly didn’t affect our stay and for the price, we certainly are not complaining.

Wow, what a fanastic place, if you enjoy being with nature, and by nature I mean sheep, and farm animals. Then this is the place to be, situated on a working farm, the accommodation is wonderful. They have thought of everything, there is nothing that we could think was missing, from a fully equipped kitchen ( even with dishwasher and washing machine tablets to use) , the the very much appreciated welcome hamper. The log burner hot tub is also a great feature, it does take a few hours to warm up, but fully worth it, can't beat a warm hot tub, looking up at the stars. We definitely be going again .
