The Granary

Large groups and extended families will find The Granary comfortable for a week away together. The property is a converted farm building on the edge of working farmland, with six bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across two floors. Bedrooms range from twin singles to kingsize beds, including one zip-and-link option; one ensuite is attached to a kingsize room, and ground-floor wet room facilities mean younger or less mobile guests have easy access. You get the whole place to yourself, with private parking for six cars and grounds that include a patio with garden furniture and cycle storage.

The ground floor is open-plan living space: a kitchen with electric range and dishwasher, a breakfast area, and a separate lounge with television, where floor-to-ceiling windows overlook meadows across to the farm pond (fenced). This dual living arrangement helps when you have a crowd and different routines. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The property is reached by a tree-lined drive through countryside; walking trails run from the door, and the Norfolk coast is under an hour's drive away. Swaffham, Ely and King's Lynn are all accessible for a day out. Note that the grounds contain unfenced ponds beyond the main fenced area, and smoking is not permitted.
