About Grange Farm Touring Park

Tucked beside the River Wissey, this peaceful touring park delivers proper waterside camping – with pitches right on the riverbank that are perfect for launching a kayak or paddleboard between cups of tea. The clean, well-maintained facilities and genuinely helpful staff keep things running smoothly, while the well-stocked garage opposite the entrance means you're never far from supplies. Level grass pitches suit tents and tourers alike, some with electric hook-ups, others kept delightfully simple.

The rural setting brings lovely river views and plenty of birdlife, plus there's fishing if you fancy it and a boat slipway for an additional fee. Stoke Ferry village, a 15-minute stroll away, has a pub and takeaway, while King's Lynn sits half an hour's drive north and Thetford Forest just 10 minutes away. Modern shower blocks include accessible facilities, and there's an outdoor washing-up area for sorting out the breakfast pans. A genuinely relaxing spot for anyone wanting a bit of Norfolk calm by the water.

This is a gem of a touring park. You can get a pitch right on the riverbank if available, so great for canoeing or paddleboarding. Small toilet block with showers but the site is not very big and lots of people use their own caravan facilities, I never waited at all for the loo or shower. Very clean, and the couple who run the site are helpful and friendly. There is a shop at the garage right opposite the gate that opens till late and sells absolutely everything, never seen such a well stocked garage shop. The site is a 15-20 min walk from the Blue Bell inn at Stoke Ferry which is a community run pub and serves excellent food, dogs welcome. Worth a visit. All in all, we had a great long weekend at this site, and would definitely go again. It has a community feel, and everyone we met on site, including the canal boat owners who moor there, was friendly and happy to chat. Lots of dogs ( have to be on leads), and we found a dog walk on the opposite side of the river so they could have a run off the lead.

Second time staying here, nice friendly atmosphere. Right next to the river. Facilities kept clean and tidy, disabled friendly. Garage across the road, with shop ( no alcohol). Bus stop up road turn left outside Touring park. About 50 metres. There is a children's play park just a short walk turn left out of park then left down Church Lane, follow it round to last house on right, up a lane and round the gate.

My first visit to this lovely campsite having previously stayed at the C&CC areas in Norfolk and Suffolk. This place is very well mai rained by friendly staff who are very welcoming and seem genuinely pleased to be there. The site wasn’t busy but the adjacent pub does a roaring trade. Amenities are clean and available, the water stations and drainage/emptying areas are clean. The whole place just looks cared for and respected. Even better, the WiFi works reliably and is free. Will definitely come again.

Bit confused when I arrived as I couldn't find the office / reception.. After a bit of a search, I discoverd the closed up bungalow had individual envelopes for each arrival, attached to the front door. Envelope contained details of pitch and a mobile number (Kevin) to call. Worth the search... Riverside pitch and a well maintained site. Clean toilets and showers. A limited Spar shop in garage opposite entrance. Friendly local pub the Blue Bell, in Stoke ferry, one mile stroll. Will visit again, Thanks Kev
