Hoe is a quiet Norfolk village surrounded by walking and cycling routes, with Hoe Common and the Rough—a Site of Special Scientific Interest—nearby for nature spotting. The Studio, a former artist's workspace, sits detached on its own grounds close to the owners' home. It's a single open-plan space downstairs with a kitchen, shower room and living area that catches light from floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking unspoilt countryside. The bedroom and a second bathroom are accessed via steps from the living area. A zip-and-link kingsize bed can be split into two singles if needed. The property uses renewable energy from its own solar panels.
The studio works well for two people who want to base themselves for exploring: medieval Norwich is 15 miles away, the north Norfolk coast with Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham is half an hour's drive, and the Broads are 40 minutes off. Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse and the Mid Norfolk Railway are both within a couple of miles. Essentials like bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with electricity powered from renewable sources. There's a lawned garden with patio furniture and a bike store, plus parking for two cars on site. The nearest shops, pub and restaurant are about a mile away; Dereham town centre with supermarkets is 2 miles. No smoking.
