Wash Farm Barns - Cedar Barn

Breckland's quiet rural setting makes for a restful base. Cedar Barn is one of several holiday conversions at Wash Farm, surrounded by paddocks and farmland near Banham Zoo. Footpaths start from the property, leading into the Norfolk countryside; the area is also home to Suffolk Punch heavy horses if you want to ask about meeting them. The indoor heated swimming pool on site (12.5m by 6.5m, open 9am to 7pm) is shared with other guests staying in the barns.

The barn itself is built for four people across one bedroom and one bathroom. Downstairs is an open-plan space with a sofa bed, dining area and kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and a washer-dryer are all here. Upstairs, a galleried bedroom holds a kingsize bed. The shower room has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included; heating comes from an air source heat pump. You have a private parking space, a shared lawn with patio and garden furniture, and the grounds contain some steps. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.
