About Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre

Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre suits travellers who want straightforward comfort over frills, whether that's a work trip needing meeting rooms and business services, or a family weekend exploring the city. With 155 rooms spread across seven floors, there's space for solo stays, family rooms, and accessible rooms alike, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi.

Breakfast here is a genuine highlight, with a varied spread that regularly wins praise, and there's a restaurant, bar and snack bar for other meals, plus room service and packed lunches for early starts. A gym, lift access, and drinks in the room round out the practical amenities, while staff are generally friendly and helpful, though service quality has been known to vary. On-site parking is available for a charge, useful given the city centre location.

The hotel puts guests within reach of Bristol's attractions, including the Clifton Suspension Bridge, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment for evenings out. Walking areas and watersports nearby add options for those wanting to get outdoors, and an electric vehicle charge point is on hand for guests arriving by car.

The staff and cleanliness were excellent. The room was very clean and felt very safe. The brunch was excellent. The staff was super friendly and responsive. It is listed as a 4 star hotel but quality of rooms was closer to 3. The furniture in the room was dated and heavily scuffed. The TV was placed on a very short table and was practically on the floor. There was only one sheet on the bed covering the mattress and it wasn't fitted. I would go again, easy location to walk to most things

Upon arrival, the very cramped car parking spaces were a bit of a shock and if you have a larger car (by which I mean a 'family car' or bigger), you'll struggle to find a wide enough space. I noticed many cars had exceeded the restrictions of the bays. If you're not driving, this hotel is pretty far from the traing station, but is close to the main bus terminal. However, the hotel more than makes up for this deficiency in many other ways. There was a speedy check-in, thanks to the use of a new registration terminal, which I hope sees its use extended to other hotels. I was upgraded to a 'Priority Club Floor' room. This notably benefitted from a larger TV, full-length windows and a little more floor space. It could potentially be worth upgrading to for those having a longer stay. The 'mini gym' on the first floor was very impressive. Featuring a 'StairMaster' machine, it was easily twice the size of most other Holiday Inn gyms I've used.

Great place. Would highly recommend. Me and my girlfriend stayed there over the weekend and we’d definitely go back. Really tidy and well kept. Room was relaxing with great facilities. Staff were very polite and happy to help. Food the next day was excellent with a really nice dining area and great view. Parking attached to hotel was really convenient and secure. Will be looking for holiday inns in future.
