About Future Inn Bristol

Bond Street South puts Future Inn Bristol right in the middle of the city, close to Bristol Temple Meads and within easy reach of local attractions including Weston Seaquarium. It's a practical base for exploring Bristol without needing to worry about where to leave the car, thanks to free on-site parking that's unusual for a hotel this central.

The 149 rooms are a strong point, generally spacious with large beds and air conditioning, though some have been reported as not always kept in the best condition. A restaurant and bar cover breakfast and evening meals, with a buffet breakfast that guests rate highly. Free WiFi, a lift, garden space and porter services round out the practical side, while meeting rooms and business facilities make it a reasonable choice for work trips, and the on-site wedding venue caters for events too.

Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, which goes some way to smoothing over any rough edges in the rooms themselves. For anyone wanting a central Bristol stay with parking sorted and breakfast included, it's a straightforward, well-located option.

I want to give a special thank you to Zoltan at the front desk for making my 60th birthday so memorable. Before my arrival, my daughter called to ask if she could have balloons placed in my room before check-in. When Zoltan learned it was my 60th birthday, he kindly offered a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. Walking into my room to find the balloons, chilled sparkling wine with glasses, and festive confetti was such a wonderful surprise. It immediately set the tone for a fantastic stay and made me feel truly celebrated. Zoltan's thoughtfulness and exceptional customer service went above and beyond, and I sincerely appreciate everything he did to make my birthday so special. Thank you for helping create such a memorable experience! I'll be back.

Had a great stay here; first for four nights and then for an extra two after our travel plans changed. Kids loved it. Great location, free parking. Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. We had a couple of funny incidents with housekeeping; one day the room was cleaned but we had no towels, another day, the beds were made but there was a rolled up sheet left in the corner of the room. Didn't impact our stay and the staff were very good when notified. The free water in reception and fresh apples were a nice touch. Had breakfast one day but it's easy enough to walk across to the cafes at the Cabot Centre across the road.

Had a long weekend here and it was a lovely experience. Very convenient parking right next to hotel and very close to shopping centre. Rooms were dated but nice. Good amount of shower gel, towels etc. Comfy bedding and brew making station. Restaurant was nice with a delicious breakfast buffet. Staff were really nice and helpful. Decent value for money.

Future Inn? Inn Future, I’ll stay somewhere else. On arrival the safe didn’t work as the battery was flat. The room, however, was nice and cool which was great as we were in the middle of a mini heatwave. We went out for a while then returned for a rest, only to find the TV didn’t work. Called downstairs and we were told to unplug it for 3 minutes and plug it back in as ‘this usually fixed it’. This didn’t work so called reception again but as there was no technician on site, we agreed to wait until the morning for them to have a look at it. Shortly after, we realised the room was cold as the A/C was set to 19 degrees. When we tried to turn the A/C up we found we couldn’t so another call was made downstairs and were told they were able to ‘sort it out downstairs’ and would call back in 5 minutes. After 1/2 an hour and after not having heard anything, I called reception again to be told they had tried to call but’ there was obviously a problem with the phone as well’. Earlier, when the TV didn’t work we’d been offered a different room so decided to take this offer and switch rooms. Once in the new room I realised I had left my phone charger in the other room so went back to get it. During my time away, a young family had gone to our new room, only to find my wife already in there, as they had been allocated it as well. Lying on the bed was like lying on a trampoline, you bounced up and down for some time. It was also very lumpy. The next day I discovered a broken spring was sticking out of the side of the bed which I scratched my leg on (see photo). After a fitful nights sleep, we attempted to go out the next day only to find the safe in this room didn’t work either. After calling downstairs to reception (good job it was on speed dial) they said they would send the technician. He arrived after 1/2 hour and pronounced the battery dead in this one too. What s coincidence!! When we returned to the room after being out for a few hours, we found the cleaner had been in and removed the soap (hardly used), shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper. Fortunately, a call to reception wasn’t required this time as the cleaners were on our floor and quickly replenished it. As recompense for all these issues, we were offered a complimentary breakfast. I have to say, this could have been one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Unfortunately, the bacon, which was really thick back bacon, was cold along with everything else apart from the beans and really, really good sausages. I should also point out that the daytime staff were excellent. The night time staff, however, were just not interested.
