Tucked into the gentle folds of the Marlborough Downs, Great Cotmarsh Farm offers both luxury tipi accommodation and traditional tent pitches on a working organic farm just outside Broad Town. The setting is genuinely peaceful—ideal for unwinding after a day exploring Avebury, the Ridgeway or Wiltshire's other prehistoric treasures. Campfires are welcome here, and the site feels refreshingly uncommercial, though some visitors note facilities can feel a touch basic compared to larger, more polished sites.

New campsite . Good firepit and wood . Kitchen area was uncovered. The toilets although well plumbed , were too small . I could not fully close the door when sitting down . There was nowhere to put your clothes when having a shower . The entrance to the field was muddy _ which ended up in the tents . Disappointing.

Fabulous campsite, peaceful and spacious. Easily one of the nicest between Bristol and London. Great pizza oven. Everything you need, will definitely be coming again next year.

My family and I stayed here for a weekend in May 2025. We stayed in one of the large tipis and had a fantastic time. Katie and James went out of her way to be helpful and make the kids feel special. The venue was clean, with our own private toilet and shower. We ordered burgers and lamb with a days notice and used the outdoor facilities to grill the food. All in all, it was a great weekend and we will be returning again due to the venue and the hospitality we received. Thank you Katie and James.

We had a lovely weekend on this fantastic campsite. You felt cut off from the normal world, with a very small number of pitches nicely spread out and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The compost toilets, shower and kitchen facilities were simple but perfect and very well maintained. Katie was so helpful with anything we needed. We will certainly be back!
