What visitors say
Cracking campsite, love it here. I've been with my daughter and this time I camped alone (training course in Swindon), trying some new kit out. I had the perfect weather camping wise, lovely few campers to chat to and a great shower. What sets this site apart is its thoughtful nature to what Zoe and hubby are doing here. The composting toilets just work (no, they don't smell!), the showers are hot and spacious with thoughtful decent hooks (which always annoys when there are not!) Maps with local walks, jam and juice to take home, and a sticker for my downstairs loo. The 'Toilet Twinning', recycled loo roll, refillable handwash and w-up liquid are all subtle nods to a more careful approach to business and their footprint. Even the mowing, demarks everyones space, so people can automatically be respectful without being like a "certain Club" we all know. Allowing you to be immersive in the meadowy grass, listen to the crickets, while you sip your cold glass of wine! Thank you Zoe for all the chat, showing me the bell tent and the horse box. I wish you continued success with your venture. I may well book the place out for the big 5-0!

Beautiful site - perfect balance between wild and well maintained. Lovely shower and toilet facilities with eco friendly hand wash and washing up. Hot water is an added bonus! Brilliant addition of firepit included with every pitch! And fantastic to have Wiltshire Wild Sauna on the same site as well! Would definitely return!

What a lovely little gem! We live locally and wanted to get the tent up for a couple of nights and take the dog on his first camping trip. This site is really nice. Not too big so quite quiet with the normal sounds of camping families in the day. It was so peaceful at night sitting by the campfire toasting marshmallows. Our pitch was a bit sloped so we slid down our bed a little but this was all part of the experience! Zoe and Ed came round to make sure everyone was OK. The campfire was so lovely and logs can be purchased on site. The little honesty shop is a nice touch too. Just what we needed and we'll definitely be back next summer. Thank you for having us 😊

What a gem of a campsite! Zoe and her husband are so relaxed and friendly. The little egg shed stocks eggs, juice, marshmallows and jam as well as sockets for charging. The showers and toilets are the cleanest I’ve ever seen and fire pits also provided for free with firewood being available to buy. The camping areas provided are huge and there’s a secure field to walk your dogs. Would highly recommend and will absolutely be back again!!
