Manor Farm Retreats - Oak

Photo: Tony Jiggens

Manor Farm Retreats – Oak is a single cabin sleeping two in the Broadland countryside, a short distance from Norwich. What arrives with you matters: bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all provided, along with electricity and heating. The cabin sits on one level, with a kingsize bed in the bedroom and a walk-in shower in the bathroom. A woodburner and smart TV occupy the living space. Parking is on site, and one well-behaved pet stays at no extra charge.

The setting is among woodland and open paddocks. A pub lies within a mile. For activity, the Norfolk Broads themselves are close – Wroxham, known as the region's hub, offers boat hire and the Bure Valley Railway runs through open countryside to Aylsham. Norwich city centre, with its castle, theatres, museums and market square, is within easy reach. The coast and Great Yarmouth are roughly half an hour away, while RSPB Strumpshaw Fen is about nine minutes' drive. Walking and cycling start from your door. No smoking is permitted in the cabin.

Our 5th short break at Manor farm. Such a beautiful spot, peaceful and with a lovely view of the horses. Well equipped huts with everything you need, comfortable beds, great shower, everything so clean. Imogen is a great host and always very helpful. Perfect base for exploring Norfolk.

Stayed here for 2 nights, slept like a dream it was so silent! Cabin was perfect for a dog, lovely touch of a bottle of wine and some dog treats on arrival. The cabin we stayed in had a perfect space for the dog outside the cabin. About a 20 min drive from Wroxham where we hired a boat for the day. Would recommended.

Had the most amazing relaxed weekend. The huts are immaculate and have everything you need. The location is beautiful, and Imogen’s communication was fantastic. The bottle of wine was a really nice touch. We will definitely be back

Spent a couple of nights here with my 8 year old daughter and we loved it! Ideal for a getaway and the cabins are very comfortable, with underfloor heating being a nice extra touch. It was nice to see the horses going about their daily lives as well, especially Fred. :)
