The Norfolk Broads are three miles away at Reedham, where you can hire boats, fish or simply watch the water traffic from one of the riverside pubs. Walkers and cyclists have quiet country lanes on the doorstep, while Breydon Water nearby is known for birdwatching. Acle market town is five miles off; Winterton beach, with its six-mile shoreline walk and seal spotting, is a similar distance. Cromer and Wroxham are a short drive, and Norwich—with its cathedral, castle and shops—is accessible by train or car from the local station.
The Old Stables is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom conversion in the village of Cantley, sleeping two. The ground floor holds a living and dining room with Freeview TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Upstairs is a kingsize bedroom and a bathroom with bath and shower. An enclosed garden with seating looks onto surrounding countryside; parking for two cars is on site. Wifi and the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels—are included. One pet stays free. There are horses and chickens in the neighbouring fields, and the property has steep spiral stairs.
