A bathroom with corner bath and shower is also on the ground floor. Upstairs, a galleried bedroom contains a double bed. The essentials are covered—electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi are included, and the heating is air-source. One dog stays free.

The village location puts you within reach of several Norfolk draws. Breydon Water, a nature reserve just beyond Freethorpe, is exceptional for birdwatching and lies close to the RSPB reserves. Winterton beach, 8 miles south with its seal colony at Horsey, offers a long coastal walk. Acle market town is 3 miles away. Norwich's cathedral, shops and restaurants are a short drive, and the market gardens, stately homes and golf courses of the wider area all fall within easy visiting distance. The shop is 150 yards from the cottage. There is a step between the conservatory and courtyard, and the property has narrow stairs.
