French doors lead through to a decked area overlooking a fenced pond; this is where you'll spend warm afternoons. The kitchen sits at the heart of the property, equipped for proper cooking with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave. On the ground floor you'll find one single bedroom and a shower room with cubicle shower. Upstairs are two further bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with twin singles. A second shower room serves the upper floor.

Essentials are covered: bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included, along with initial fuel for the wood burner. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. There's parking for three cars on site and a front patio with garden furniture and barbecue. The countryside surrounding the property is genuine, but this is not remote—Alvechurch village lies just over two miles away with pubs, restaurants and cafés, while Bromsgrove is seven miles off. Redditch is six miles in the other direction. No smoking indoors. The property does have three steps up to the entrance and three further steps within the garden.
