About Bronwye Guest House

Bronwye Guest House occupies a nineteenth-century building on Church Street in the heart of Builth Wells, directly overlooking the River Wye and lying on the route of the Wye Valley Walk. The guest house holds a four-star grading from Visit Wales, reflecting the quality of its rooms and its warm, personal style of hospitality.

Bedrooms are comfortably furnished, several with river views, and a full Welsh breakfast is served each morning, making good use of local produce. Free parking and Wi-Fi are provided, useful given the guest house's central location on a street with limited on-street parking.

Its riverside position puts guests within a few minutes' walk of the town's shops, pubs and the Royal Welsh Showground, and makes it a natural stopping point for anyone walking the Wye Valley Walk through Builth Wells.

I had such a lovely stay at the Brownwye guest house whilst visiting my mum at a nearby care home. The hosts are so nice and the room is clean, quiet and has all the amenities you need. It’s close to the town and river for a scenic walk. I travel lot with work at the usual branded hotels but the Brownwye feels like home. The breakfast we were amazing and I will be booking again very soon.

We stayed in this beautiful Guest house this week. The attention to detail and the welcome extended was much appreciated. There is a very comfortanle lounge with a seperate dining room very tastefully decorated. Fresh milk in the room for our tea and coffee and a delecious breakfast. The owners took the time to chat to us! The location is perfect only a few minutes walk into town and easy access to restaurants and pubs. This was a five star experience. Thank you both for a lovely stay Margaret O'Malley
