About The Fox Inn
A proper restaurant and bar sit at the centre of The Fox Inn, with breakfast served each morning and outdoor seating for warmer days when a pint or a meal outside is the better option. Packed lunches can be arranged too, useful for anyone heading out to explore the surrounding Cotswold countryside. Room service and drinks in the room mean guests aren't tied to the bar's hours if they'd rather stay upstairs.
There are 15 rooms in total, each with an en-suite bathroom and free WiFi, and a bridal suite for those after something a little more special. Practical touches include laundry service, luggage storage, and free on-site parking, while business services and meeting rooms make it workable for those travelling on business as well as leisure. Pets are welcome, which widens the appeal for guests travelling with dogs.
Great Barrington and Burford make for good walking country, and the area also offers golf, fishing, and horse riding nearby, alongside further pubs and restaurants for those keen to explore beyond the inn's own kitchen. It's a straightforward, comfortable base in the heart of Oxfordshire, built around food, drink, and easy access to the countryside.
