Santa's Christmas Workshop

We had a brilliant family day out at the National Forest Adventure Farm with my two kids (aged 4 and 7) last weekend, and it was exactly what we needed. The ticket price was really reasonable, which is always a bonus these days, and we easily spent the whole day there without feeling rushed. The kids loved the huge indoor soft play area (those slides kept them entertained for ages), and outside they went wild on the go-karts, and mini golf. Feeding the animals was a highlight too, the goats and cow were very friendly! Everything felt safe, well organised, and there was plenty to do and the staff were friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend for a fun, active day with little ones. We’ll be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely place, plenty to do. Shame we went on the hottest day of half term. No paddling or water features for kids to cool off. Could only stay for a couple of hours. Best to check before you book. Didn't spoil the day, just that if there was some sort of water play area the children would have cooled down.

We've been today and I just wanted to say how brilliant it is here. There's so much to do for the kids for a great price and the free return over the summer is an absolute bonus. The whole place is spotlessly clean and every member of staff we spoke to were so polite and lovely with the kids. The staff look like they work really hard to keep everywhere clean - the pools are clean and pleasant for the kids despite how many use them, not an easy job, and the entertainment shows were all done with great enthusiasm! The foam party at the end is amazing. Thank you for the best day out we've had for a while, we can't wait to come back!

After a long, hot, exhausting day, just before the foam party was due to start, my daughter and I had around 30 minutes to spare, so we went to the Arts & Crafts area. Before sitting down, I asked the member of staff in charge, Sofia, whether I could sit on one of the chairs while she was clearing up for the day. She agreed. While my daughter was doing arts and crafts, she handed me a pen and encouraged me to make something too. On a small card, I simply wrote: “Aston Villa 3–0 Freiburg, Istanbul, 20/05/26.” A few moments later, another visitor approached me and asked what I had written. I politely replied that it was my artwork. She immediately seemed irritated and went off to speak to Sofia. Around ten minutes later, a member of staff called Alex approached me and asked what my artwork was. I explained again that it was the score from the Europa League final. He then told me I was not allowed to sit where I was because the chair was for staff. I reminded him, calmly but firmly, that I had already asked permission from Sofia before sitting down and had been told it was fine. Shortly after, Alex returned again and told me to move, this time giving a different reason and instructing me to go to the end of the room. I felt pushed around and singled out, but I complied and moved so I could still keep an eye on my daughter. What happened next was absolutely shocking and deeply upsetting. I saw two senior members of staff take my artwork from the table while deliberately leaving my daughter’s artwork behind. My daughter noticed and became upset that my work had been taken away. I immediately asked Sofia why my artwork had been removed. She flatly denied it had happened at all, despite me clearly seeing a senior staff member holding it after speaking with her. I then spoke to Alex again and asked him directly why my artwork had been taken. At first, he also denied any knowledge of it. When I challenged this, he suddenly said, “Oh, the Aston Villa Freiburg one,” which made it clear he knew exactly what I was referring to all along. I am honestly shocked, angry, and deeply hurt by how this situation was handled. It felt humiliating and completely unnecessary. I cannot understand how something as simple and harmless as a football score written on a craft card could lead to my work being taken away without a single conversation with me beforehand. What has affected me most is not just the removal of the artwork, but the way I was spoken to, the shifting explanations, and what felt like complete disregard for me and my daughter in that moment. My daughter was upset, I was embarrassed and distressed, and the whole experience left me feeling targeted and disrespected. I left feeling shaken, humiliated, and genuinely devastated by how I was treated. I cannot say for certain why this happened, but I am left with serious concerns about how I was handled as a visitor. I sincerely hope this is properly investigated, and that staff are reminded of the importance of clear communication, honesty, and basic respect towards families and guests. I will not be visiting again and do not recommend!!
