Beautiful little site, set slightly off the beaten track with some gorgeous scenery around. Lovely to see all the farm animals, particularly the free range chickens wandering around the site - and we bought a few eggs from the shop to bring home with us. Also loved having the owners dog over at our tent - he had a real knack for turning up when the BBQ was lit! Site owners were friendly and attentive, we felt as if nothing would have been too much to ask. The site is very well kept - toilet, shower and washing facilities are always spotless. Pitches are a good size, and there is ample space for parking too. Definitely top of our list of campsites in the area - and we can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Wonderful working farm family campsite. We loved our stay here, Rosie and Chris are superb personable hosts, we loved seeing the cows, learning about the farm and being able to buy their meat, their boys are very lovely and our children loved playing with them. The site is very quiet which is what we enjoy, had read that there was previously only 1 toilet / shower room, there are now 2 and this was never a problem during our Bank Holiday weekend stay. Good facilities for washing up. We will definitely return when visiting the Peak district again (20 mins drive from Ashbourne).

As can be readily gauged by 95% of 5 star reviews here, this caravan site is a joy to experience. The owners are kind, polite, and especially helpful. The setting of the site is of the highest standards and is approached by daffodil flanked beds on a long drive. Extensive and unimpeded views to tree lined boundaries on this charming farm. Pricing is most acceptable and facilities are perfectly adequate. Home baked cakes and scones are often available and reflect an extra little bit of care by the lovely young proprietor family. As with all truly rural and not particularly commercial sites, access is via a not-especially wide but negotiable country road. Lovely nearby country pub which has roaring fires in the winter, and early spring, offering a good and affordable menu. The site is within a convenient 20 minute drive of wonderful Derbyshire Dales countryside and hills. Highly recommended.

Definately my favourite campsite. The owners are the nicest, most accommodating people I've ever met. Very relaxed and off the beaten track.
