Pitch on Site was double booked camping club advertised as £20 per night arrived and was charged £25 per night does not answer phone number that is on website as apparently she never takes that phone out with her. Good access into castleton and local walks

Wonderful adult only (dog friendly) ccc site. Great location for walking the ridges, visiting the caverns, visiting Pevril castle or just strolling into town. Peaceful location with great views from your window. The site provides electric hook up for every pitch, one tap which provides drinking water, an elson point and recycle/rubbish bins. You do need to be self sufficient in your set up. Pitches spaciously laid out and flat which a sort of hard standing. Hope to return.

Really great place to stay over, fantastic views, only 6x pitches with fresh water and elsan disposal. 20 mins walk from Castleton town.
