Just back from a 2 night campervan stay and already looking when we can return. Great little basic camping spot in a fab location, the views are stunning with walks straight from the site. Short walk into Castleton for a pub and meal. Katie is doing a great job with this site, everywhere is clean and the toilets are well stocked. Honesty box is nice and a drinking water tap are nice things to have. Missing the place already.

The views, location, animals and atmosphere is top notch. I've been here for a few separate stays and it's always been nice. You can start a lot of the easy walks from here or make longer ones to the dark peaks. Walk to town is surprisingly short around 20minutes

Great camping spot, tucked in under Mam Tor. Very responsive staff. Honesty box of basic supplies is just great. Toilets spotless. Drinking water tap and washing basins provided. Only downside: no shower.
