We found Hendy completely by chance while searching for a caravan site near Caernarfon, and honestly—what a gem! It’s perfectly located, only about a 20‑minute walk into town along a safe cycle/pedestrian path that follows the Welsh Highland Railway right at the bottom of the lane leading up to the site. The owner couldn’t be more welcoming. Friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of the site, which is spotless, well‑kept, and offers fully serviced pitches at great prices. The facilities are faultless and have everything you need, including washer and dryer. You’ve got Caernarfon just a short walk away, the steam railway passing nearby, and even a garden centre within easy reach—complete with gift ideas plants of all types and some seriously tasty cheesecakes. (and plenty of other cakes too!)

Nice Site situated on a Farm. Very clean Facilities. Very Friendly and Helpful Owners. Just a short walk along the Steam Railway into the Town. Close to the Castle.

A top caravan/motorhome park. Very helpful and friendly run site with beautiful surrounding views. Short walk into Caernarfon alongside the steam railway. A 10 minute walk in the other direction to the Front Goch garden centre. Excellent.

Just 3/4 mile from Caernarfon centre with beautiful mountain views. The on site falities are outstanding for cleanliness and are evidently modern and very well maintained including constant hot water for dishes, showers in pristine condition... Well kept site! Glad we came.
