About Parc Newydd
Perched at 900 feet on a Welsh smallholding, this pop-up camping field commands spectacular views across to Anglesey and up to Mynydd Mawr in Snowdonia National Park. It's a properly remote spot – when darkness falls, the lack of electricity and street lighting reveals skies packed with stars, though you'll definitely need those torches. The spacious, level field keeps things beautifully simple: a portable toilet and washing-up area, but no showers, so come prepared for a semi-wild experience.
Mountain walks, castles and museums lie within easy reach, while Waunfawr village (five minutes by car, 40 on foot) offers essentials and a cracking pub serving burgers alongside craft beers from its own microbrewery. This is a quiet site suited to those after peace rather than entertainment, and dogs aren't permitted due to resident sheep. If you're happy trading creature comforts for unbeatable scenery and genuine tranquillity, Parc Newydd delivers.

What visitors say
Sharon & Charlie were there to greet us when we arrived which was a nice surprise, Charlie walked us around to explain all the facilities The house was lovely and warm, throughout the whole stay. As we looked through the house , so much thought & effort had gone into welcoming people From the slippers and robes on the bed to the Sweets 🍬 and chocolates 🍫 strategically placed around the house Along with plenty of coffee, tea and biscuits in various rooms ,WiFi and smart TVs were great too. They suggested various places to eat And visit which we took them up on , and were highly recommended. We enjoyed the hot tub a couple of times which was great , unfortunately didn’t get time to use the bbq 🍖 hut which looked amazing The garden and surroundings were beautiful too. Thank you for sharing part your lovely Home with us and was blown away by the bottle of wine 🍷 left for my partners birthday. Totally unexpected 6 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I enjoyed every second of my 2 night stay here. It was a surprise for for my wife for her 30th and also a get away after our wedding. Hosts were so friendly and very helpful on explaining how everything worked. I wish it was my home. Spectacular. Dora our little cockapoo loved thr garden. Massive and enclosed. Lush place!!

Lovely, clean and well appointed cottage with the hosts being considerate and attentive to needs. The location is very peaceful and although we weren't able to take advantage of the hot tub, they had prepped it and had it lit up in case we had.
