What visitors say

Luke Stirling (Lucasmemorial)

We spent 4 nights on grass pitch with electric hookup over the half term. The pitch isn't very big and it was pretty busy so we could barely get our car in and out of the field. It is also on a slope so bear that in mind when pitching your tent. The toilet block is cleaned daily 3 times so it was spotless and the showers were nice, warm, push button to use ones. However, it is fob access so we had to keep passing the key between 7 of us or all go together. The electric meter is pay as you go but the staff will refund you anything you don't use. They offer breakfast delivered to your tent if you order the day before, which is homemade and was ok, just the bread was a little tough. The proximity of the site is situated off a busy main road which can be quite noisy, only separated by a field which is full of equally noisy sheep but we came prepared with ear plugs which were highly beneficial. Decent location to local hikes and the Snowdonia mountain range. There is a small football field over the road too to let the kids burn off some energy in the evenings and a small picnic table in a wooded area at the back of the pitch.

I needed to find a campsite near Bangor while my daughter was in hospital, and I came across this absolute gem. The campsite itself is lovely and very well kept, and the showers are spotless. What truly made my stay, though, were the wonderful owners, Sally and her husband. This was my first time camping on my own, and I was feeling very stressed because of my daughter’s situation. They were so kind, caring, and welcoming, and they made me feel completely at ease. I would 💯 recommend this campsite and will definitely be returning. Thank you both so much for your support—and for the puppy cuddles, which were exactly what I needed ❤️

A great little site, stayed 3 nights in our camper van, you have to pay for electric in advance & you are re embursed on what you haven't used. Showers & toilets are very clean. Highly recommend 👌

We stayed on a hard standing pitch for 2 nights. The site was very clean and well kept. Enclosed dog walking area for Toilet, brilliant idea. Toilets were spotless and showers were hot and plenty of room. With under floor heating was lovely. Drinking taps at every pitch (with hook up but we didnt use) It was quiet and close to a little town. We enjoyed ourselves very much
