About Challoner Caravan Park
Tucked near Llanrug with Snowdonia's peaks on the doorstep, Challoner Caravan Park makes a practical base for exploring North Wales. The site has its own restaurant and café, so you can refuel without venturing far after a day's hiking or cycling. Nearby you'll find shops, pubs and plenty of outdoor pursuits—fishing, watersports on the lakes, golf and horse riding are all within easy reach, while public transport links open up the coast and mountains beyond.
Note that dogs aren't permitted here, so it's one to bear in mind if you're travelling with four-legged friends. Otherwise, it's a straightforward, well-regarded spot that puts you within striking distance of Caernarfon Castle, the Llanberis Pass and the whole sweep of Eryri National Park.

What visitors say
Fantastic campsite I've been going here since I was a young lad, great owners on site and very welcoming. Great toilet and wash facilities with great public transport links through busses to places in the area. Local shops only a short walk away and some fun welcoming pubs in the local area. Highly recommended for families and personal camping trip with loved ones.
