About Tyddyn Perthi Farm
Mountain views from a working farm setting are the first thing to know about Tyddyn Perthi Farm, a small hotel just outside Llanberis in Gwynedic. Surrounded by open countryside, it offers a quiet base for anyone wanting to explore Snowdonia without the crowds of the town centre.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, family options for those travelling with children, and drinks available in the room, alongside free WiFi throughout. Breakfast is included, and a garden gives guests somewhere to sit outside and take in the surrounding hills. Reception is staffed around the clock, and free on-site parking makes arriving with a car straightforward.
There's no restaurant on site, but pubs, restaurants and other eateries are all within easy reach nearby, along with entertainment options for evenings out. The area is well suited to walking and cycling, with the Sygun Copper Mine among the local points of interest worth a visit, and Bangor accessible for a longer day out.
What guests say
We felt so at home at this beautiful farmhouse. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, we were greeted with homemade shortbreads which were delicious. The farmhouse was very spacious and had every amenities you could want. The super king was incredibly comfy. Beautiful location would stay here again in a heartbeat. The family dog Tecwydd even joined us for breakfast in the garden on our last day! 10/10 property and hosts. Gabby & Connah.

We stayed in one of the cottages at the farm. Janice was really welcoming and we felt at home right away! The cottage was extremely beautiful and made me want to live there! Janice had made us Mince Pies which created a personal touch, as well as buying us local bread and produce that was to die for! Thank you so much, we’ll soon be back!

Wow, just wow! Michael and Janice certainly don't lack in quality when it comes to hospitality. They're very friendly and love to chat, every conversation I've had with them have been all very pleasant. They made our visit an absolute pleasure. The location is nicely tucked away from all the noise, and is thus extremely peaceful. The air is fresh and the night skies are very clear. (You can see more with your eyes than you can normally see in let's say; London.) - I'm gutted I didn't bring my camera, part of the milky way belt was visible. With the above being said, it wasn't any trouble at all getting to neighboring towns. All were about 5 miles away. Making it a perfect distance from everywhere. The accomodation (we had the smaller, 1 bed cottage - Y Gweithdy) that thing is a TARDIS. Did not expect it to be so big inside. It was fully kitted out with everything, in fact, there was more in there than I thought there would have been. Very well presented, and it goes to show that they have put a lot of thought into running this place. Janice had left some Welsh Cakes in there prior to our arrival, damn those things were good. Everything was clean, and everything worked. It was perfect. The price was unbelievably cheap, but after speaking to both Janice and Michael, it was clear that they're not doing it for the money, but are doing it for their love of people and the hospitality. And sometimes, that is all it needs to be. I will be returning, and maybe in greater numbers. But this is one for the favourites folder. Janice, Michael, Thank you very much! You guys have been an absolute pleasure. And like I say, we'll be back! Diolch!
