About Tyddyn Teg Campsite
Tucked between Eryri National Park and Anglesey, this regenerative vegetable farm offers a genuinely peaceful escape on the edge of Snowdonia. Run as a cooperative, Tyddyn Teg keeps one field open for camping beside unspoiled woodland threaded with paths to oak trees and a stream. It's properly family-friendly – campfires crackle under the stars, the farm shop stocks freshly harvested veg and local produce, and regular on-site events keep things lively.
The pitch setup is simple: non-electric grass spots for four to ten people, with composting loos, hot showers, and a communal fridge. Some say facilities can feel basic, but that's the trade-off for low-key, nature-first camping. Llanberis and the Snowdon path are 15 minutes away; Dinas Dinlle beach is 20. For pub suppers or takeaways, nearby villages are five minutes by car. Note: no dogs allowed, so leave four-legged friends at home.

What visitors say
had an absolutely amazing stay here! we stayed for 4 nights and would’ve stayed longer if we could! everything was clean and the campsite was lovely and cosy, we loved relaxing in the day and exploring the area and the forests! the kitchen was always clean and stocked with milk, the bathroom and showers were clean and had absolutely no faults! Dafydd was always around to help out and made sure we were okay! cannot recommend it enough! will definitely be back, thankyou for such a lovely camping experience :) edit: we stayed here again this year in a bell tent and it was even better! we had a heated blanket, wood and firelights provided, tea and coffee, everything you need and more!! we even had a private little swing behind our tent! definely added to our yearly holidays!

We had such a gorgeous stay at this campsite. The tent pitches were beautifully wild and secluded but also there were mown paths to the kitchen and toilet area, making the whole area easy to navigate. The kitchen and toilets were really clean and well kitted out. Daf, the campsite manager, was really kind and friendly and it was lovely seeing him on site. He was generous in sharing local recommendations and stories. We also bought food from the farm shop which was a highlight. All sounds, such a lovely time. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay! 💚

We had the most incredible time at this campsite – everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The facilities were spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was such a treat to have everything so clean and ready to use. The showers were so lovely and warm and the toilets great. A huge thank you to Daffyd, who looked after us so well. Nothing was ever too much trouble – he checked in on us multiple times a day to make sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and attention to detail really made our stay extra special. He gave us his mobile incase we needed him at any point. The little farm shop on site was brilliant . All the food from the fresh veg and eggs to the milk – was organic and absolutely delicious. It’s clear a lot of love and care goes into everything here. The kids had so much fun on the trampoline and playing in the open space. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be coming back! We’ll definitely be coming back!
