Waterside Lodge Thirteen

Waterside Lodge Thirteen occupies a corner of Ashgrove Country Park, the former grounds of Ashgrove House, where 40 acres of woodland, lakes and canal frontage offer immediate outdoor space. The lodge itself spans three floors, with the main living areas—open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge with wood-burning stove—on the upper level, opening onto a balcony. Two bedrooms on the middle floor include one with an ensuite; a third bedroom on the lower ground floor has its own ensuite and French doors onto a decked terrace facing the water.

The property sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with two ovens and an induction hob, plus dishwasher and washing machine. A private hot tub for six sits on the grounds. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with logs for the wood-burner. The lodge is yours alone—no shared facilities—and comes with private parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

The setting suits families or groups wanting a retreat from town living without leaving Calderdale: the lake and woodland are on your doorstep, and the canal runs through the grounds. There are 8 steps to reach the water itself. No smoking inside the property.
