Callander Woods Holiday Park sits along the River Teith on the eastern edge of town, close enough to walk into Callander for pubs and shops but still feeling properly set back from the road. The park mixes touring pitches with static caravans, lodges and glamping pods, and though some visitors note the site can feel a little tired in places, the location and year-round opening make it a practical base for exploring the Trossachs without being stranded out in the countryside.

Booked pod 2 ,on arrival in the dark trying to reverse into the parking space between a tree an pod in the dark as no lighting an tar mac width smaller than a single track road ,yeah you end up slightly on the grass ,windy night some of the thiner branches broke an landed on car ,thankfullyno damage,sensor light wasn't working outside above the door of pod ,so it was complete darkness, pods sit far too close to each no privacy, at night you can hear the door from the other pod closing an people talking ,the pod itself was warm ,everything you need for few days ,clean an tidy ,instructions on everything, double bed was so uncomfortable you felt the springs also getting up from the bed up catch your legs on the wooden frame because the mattress is so thin didnt get a wink of sleep first night ,slept on the pull out bed that was sooo comfy wish we slept on this night before ,toilets ,shower block are clean an warm bit of a distance to walk though ,view was ok nothing to write home about,seen one dog owner let their dog do its business an leave it ,3 mins drive to calander main st

Stayed here with my fiancé for 3 days. It was absolutely AMAZING. We stayed in one of the homes with the hot tub, which was regularly maintained and checked on. The park is very beautifully organised and maintained. After an all day hike, my fiancé and I would just walk the park, admiring how homey and cozy everything looked. Not to mention the natural beauties of Callander which are absolutely BREATHTAKING. I definitely recommend this place and we will be back guaranteed!

Great to be back came in motorhome after selling our tourer , we brought the grandkids and was an easy walk to town for lunch , toilet and shower block are very clean it’s been very windy today so asked at reception if I could stay till 6 to let wind die down a bit before travelling and was no trouble at all very grateful to park staff would recommend this park for touring and thanks again your understanding was first class

Nice campsite within walking distance of Callander. Decent facilities, showers need 20p for 3mins.
