About Here and Now Pods
Fancy waking up to the spectacular big-country scenery of Stirlingshire before going for a spot of wild swimming in a serene loch? All this can be yours at Here and Now Pods, a tiny adults-only site on a family-run deer farm on the banks of Loch Rusky, at the eastern edge of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Each secluded lakeside pod has a kingsize bed, ensuite shower and toilet, well-equipped kitchenette (with fridge freezer and gas barbecue), and a firepit outside with logs supplied. You can relax on your deck, wee dram in hand, watching ospreys catch fish from the water.
Active types can tackle the hilly paths of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park half an hour away, or cycle the area's moderate-to-challenging trails. The owners rent out paddleboards (you can't use your own vessels on the loch), or try a sunrise wild swim. For something gentler, book a Reiki session with owner Natalie. Dogs are welcome year-round, and renewable energy is used on-site.

The most beautiful, calming, relaxing and restorative escape — literally perfect. The views, the total serenity of the pods, how well equipped and beautifully decorated they are, the comfiest bed, the gorgeous wee decking area, and the endless wildlife 🤍 I came here with a close friend to escape some personal stress I’ve been dealing with over the last few months, and this place genuinely restored my soul. After just two nights, I feel like a different person. I slept properly for the first time in about five months. Natalie is such a wonderful host, and the love and care that she and her family have put into their land and animals is truly admirable. My friend and I described the pods as our sanctuary all weekend. We are both so grateful for everything and will absolutely be back.

Brilliant 4 nights away!!! Do as much or as little as you like, away from the usual chaos and noise of everyday life. Dogs love it too, swimming, snoozing, exploring, watching the wildlife Highly recommend, will definitely visit again

In one word: amazing! Small-scale, there are two pods located 100 meters from the lake. You feel completely cut off from the outside world. A great place to reset and unwind. The hostess is very hospitable and makes you feel welcome immediately. The pods are fully equipped and are situated about 20 meters apart. You are in the middle of nature and can completely relax here. Highly recommended!
