Cannock Chase is a well-equipped three-bedroom property sleeping six, set within the woodland landscape of Cannock Chase itself. Everything you need for a self-catering stay is provided: bed linen, towels, wi-fi, electricity, and wood for the burner. The kitchen comes with an electric range, air fryer, dishwasher, wine cooler and other essentials, so cooking at the cottage is straightforward. Each bedroom has its own ensuite shower room and smart TV. Underfloor heating keeps the property warm in cooler months.

The open-plan ground floor centres on a living and dining space with a woodburner and smart TV, opening via bi-fold doors onto a decking area and enclosed garden. A hot tub for six sits in the back garden, heated and private. There is parking for two cars and a utility room with washing and tumble-drying facilities. One dog stays free, and a welcome pack is provided. The property is accessed via a rough track; there are six steps to the entrance.

The location puts you within reach of extensive mountain bike trails, woodland walks and visitor facilities including cafes and small shops. An activity centre nearby organises forest pursuits from bike rides to tree-top adventures. No smoking indoors.

First visit for me and I really wanted to put my new ‘Brompton G-line’ electric bike through its paces on one of the MTB trails.. first impressions were really good! There is plenty of parking and most of the Facilities are clearly marked. If you’re new to Cannock (as I was) it’s fairly straightforward to navigate. Back using the trails and I absolutely loved it. To say being in the woods is tranquil is an understatement. The location itself is absolutely beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed my day out. Would definitely go again and thoroughly recommend it.

Great place to go out for a walk through the forest, plenty of different trails to follow, very popular with mountain bikers, if you need refreshments there's a cafe and toilets. Could quite easily make a day exploring the area. Can get busy and parking can be tricky especially in the summer months.

Numerous raw nature trails here enables you to take up cycling, hiking, trekking and dog walking. It's actually a wooded area with nice undulating landscapes, a stream of clear water and greenery with tall deciduous trees. When you do go there, go with back-ups of drinking water & food.....because there's nothing else except raw nature.
