Homing Park

Church Ln, Seasalter, Whitstable CT5 4BU, UK

Seaside park at Seasalter near Whitstable, about fifteen minutes drive from Canterbury

About Homing Park

Homing Park sits on the flat coastal strip at Seasalter, a short walk from the beach and a couple of miles west of Whitstable. Family-run since 1953, it has the well-tended feel of a site that's had the same careful hands on it for decades. The outlook is all open Thames Estuary—bracing in spring, glorious on still summer evenings, and reliably good for sunsets over the water.

Facilities are more extensive than most sites nearby: an outdoor heated pool, tennis court, playground, ball games area, clubhouse, laundrette, Wi-Fi and a small shop. Touring pitches suit tents, caravans and motorhomes with electric hook-ups, and camping pods are on offer for those preferring not to pitch. Dogs are welcome. The park also hosts privately owned holiday homes, lending it a settled, residential character alongside the touring fields.

It works well as a two-centre base. Whitstable's oyster beds and harbour are an easy walk or cycle east; Faversham and its Shepherd Neame brewery lie similarly close to the west. Canterbury is a straightforward drive or bus ride inland. Book early for high summer and bank holidays—late May, June and September offer better availability and value.

Just arrived home from Homing park for a brilliant 3 nights. Despite all the water being off in whitstable we had a lovely time. Becky and the staff were all really helpful and couldn’t be nicer! Lovely clean facilities and pool. We will definitely return and hopefully south east water will turn water supply on soon!

Well located in Seasalter on outskirts of Whitstable just off the main road. We walked a couple of times to Whitstable and is approximately a 45min to 1 hour walk depending on where you want to go. Very short distance to a couple of pubs, Starbucks, M&S and Aldi. All staff were friendly, reception team when arriving, the maintenance guys we saw and then the staff in the clubhouse / bar. Well maintained site, clean shower and toilets block. The clubhouse is a reasonable size but probably too small for peak time. We visited over Easter weekend and for bingo on Fri and Sun, not enough tables with people standing around at bar or in arcade area so would assume in Summer the same would be encountered. Clubhouse food and drink reasonably priced but well stocked. The site itself was decent size, static caravans well spaced and spread over large area but Touring and camping were possibly a little closer than any site we've visited before, but pitch was good. Solid gravel as a base with water and electric. There is also a tennis court, kids pkay area and fenced in dog area. Definitely worth a visit and would likely stay again.

A caravan park with touring site. The site is immaculate, we'll kept and clean a credit to the site team. However recent price increases on the touring site has killed a lot of the business from tourers and the club house that isn't supported by the caravan owners.

Doesn't accommodate vans.. On a cara(van) site.. Absolutely ridiculous, I'd understand if it was a 6t truck, but it's a swb transit custom no bigger than a people carrier.. Meanwhile i can see a 4X4 trucks parked up no issues half hanging out of the parking bay.. Brilliant.
