Alberta Holiday and Leisure Park

Stayed here Mon-Fri, had a gold 3 bedroom caravan which was lovely. Nice clean site. Parking a bit of an issue. Nice club but not a lot on. Ellie the entertainment team was lovely and did great to entertain the kids. Only saw 1 duo all week which wasn't the best. Had arcades but a lot of the machines was broke. Food in the club seemed pricey but there's a chip chop and Chinese not far away. All staff we met was very friendly. Whitstable is a beautiful town with quite a few shops and visited a lovely castle there too. Had a lovely break at Alberta but not sure if it's somewhere I would stay again.

Recently returned from this holiday park two days ago. I booked privately through booking . Com but paid £7 a day for passes to use the facilities on the park. On the first night after a long drive we went to the club house for food, to be told the chef had walked out. No food! My 3 year old Grandson was also looking forward to the advertised children’s entertainment 6pm - 7.30pm. Was then told oh that’s only on weekends, even though this is not what the poster at reception says. The girl on stage said “ oh no, I’m not doing it because it’s too hot”. The next day we got ready to go to the swimming pool, only to be told by my nieghbour ( owner caravan ) don’t go up there , the filter is broken and it’s filthy. We decided to go out to the beach and swim the next day once fixed. When going up to reception the next day I was told the filter is broken again the pool is closed !!! One disappointed three year old, no characters no disco, no food , no swimming and to top off possibly the worst holiday ever the milk and bread bought from the onsite shop - milk was off and bread one week out off date. No apologies from management just push back and defensive excuses. Please avoid this site, it sounds like this is made up or exaggerated. I promise you it really isn’t. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Nice Caravan Park, caravan was nice, clean and spacious. Playground, club house and arcades ok (no all machines working). Outdoor Swimming Pool really good but just have to book a slot as gets busy. Not all caravans have Parking so it's pot luck if you find a space near you pitch. The location easy to find with a few tiny shops a few min walk outside..Larger shops (Aldi, M&S Food and HomeBargins) are just few minutes drive for all your supplies. Local to a beach but other nicer beaches are a drive away.

Stayed at Seasalter Levels. A brand new luxury development. We were the first to use this beautiful 8 berth caravan. Everything you could possibly want in the kitchen, and the central heating was very welcome. A very peaceful location. I am very impressed with the staff in reception and Sara who checks everything is in good order . I have had 3 weeks here and enjoyed every moment. Friends who have visited ,have booked for a holiday here.
