About Plas Y Wern
Tucked into the Ceredigion countryside near Cardigan, Plas Y Wern is a tiny farm site with just a handful of pitches—making it ideal if you're after peace rather than crowds. The scenery is spectacular, walkers will find endless footpaths on the doorstep, and there's even a dedicated dog park for four-legged guests. What visitors say
Plas Y Wern Campsite (CL) "A place with a view" is the perfect description for this site, and you certainly can’t deny it—the outlook across Cardigan Bay is absolutely fabulous. Lianne and Steve are friendly owners who clearly take great care of their site. The facilities are excellent, featuring well-maintained hardstands with EHU, a clean WC with a shower, a convenient pot-washing area, and a proper toilet cassette disposal point. A unique and lovely touch is the hot bath available right out in the field! Whether you’re looking to relax, enjoy breathtaking sunset views, or stargaze under the dark skies, this is a brilliant location. It’s also very accessible—there is a bus route on the main road, and the site even offers the convenience of taxis being able to collect you directly from your pitch. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Plas Y Wern Holidays in Min Y Mor cottage. The cottage was beautiful, cosy, and perfectly located, with stunning sea views that made every evening special. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset over the water was easily the highlight of our trip — so peaceful and relaxing. The location is fantastic for exploring the area while still feeling private and tranquil. What really made the stay exceptional though were the hosts, who genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. They were so welcoming, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed as a couple and it was the perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Plas Y Wern Holidays to anyone looking for a relaxing coastal escape.

That view! This place is absolutely stunning! With warm friendly hosts, we had only booked one night initially to plan to then move somewhere else but this place was too amazing. Sorted with hosts for an extra night and this was quick and easy to sort! 😊 The shower/toilet is warm and good shower pressure and temperature! 👌also has an enclosed dog park so your dog can have off lead time! Awesome feature! definitely would stay again!

Honest review: the views were stunning but the hosts were very RUDE. We booked a stay for 8 people my husband surprised us and honestly didn’t think it would matter as 3 of the guests were small children under 6. Anyway we were wrong, if you want your every move to be watched this place is for you. They live on the premises and sit and watch you. The manner in which they spoke to us after we said we were leaving was shocking they wouldn’t even let us eat with our family or children and wanted the extra guest gone immediately. Considering we are in a cost of living crisis you would think they would be grateful for the extra business but that didn’t come across. We booked to stay at Noyadd Trefawr - couldn’t recommend this place enough from the owners to the room, the grounds everything was simply stunning. If you are in the area and looking for a place to stay please look them up you won’t be disappointed and supporting businesses who appreciate and value each and every one during this uncertain time means the world to them.
