About Glampio Eco Gwili Glamping
Tucked into a riverside meadow near Bronwydd, this tiny off-grid glamping spot announces itself through an atmospheric stone railway arch—a relic of the old Gwili Steam Railway that once ran alongside. The site's handful of well-equipped bell tents and cabins come with log burners, proper hot showers, and even hot tubs for starlit soaks, making it easy to unplug from digital life while still staying comfortable. Guests love the cosy atmosphere and family-friendly touches, plus the responsive hosts who keep everything running smoothly.
The location puts you within easy reach of Carmarthenshire's quieter corners—nearby trails offer proper hiking, while Carmarthen itself is close enough for supplies or a restaurant meal. Campfires crackle in designated firepits come evening, though note that dogs aren't welcome here. It's a genuinely peaceful base for exploring West Wales, with Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire both just over the county line.

What visitors say
Loved the place, beautiful scenery, and so peaceful. We managed to pick the hottest week of the year so far and the hot tub was used as a cold tub. Very spacious, clean accommodation. The local town and castle were great. We did further drives out to Tenby and other destinations, although I could have relaxed completely at the tent. Would love to go back especially in cooler weather and have a cosy fire and do some local walks

Me and my friends agree it was the best place we have ever stayed! The view from the safari tent is stunning and the location is surrounded by more amazing views and lovely walks too go on. Peaceful and homely, we went too a nearby pub that served lovely food and another that was a bit more lively that was just up the road. Hot tub was perfect and was even better with a glass of wine from the bottle that was on the table when we arrived! Couldn’t of asked for better specially for the price, we will definitely be back!

We (2 adults, 2 young boys) had a great stay at Gelli Glamping. The safari tent, views, the helpful and responsive hosts, hot tub and local walks and sights were all 5 stars. Little touches like the hot water bottles, welcome bottle of wine and biscuits made the trip that little bit more special. We'll be looking to book another visit in the future. Fully recommend.
