Photo: Coastal Wood Holidays

Amroth sits between two stretches of golden sand on the Carmarthenshire coast, with countryside rolling back from the beach. Dairy Cottage occupies a restored 18th-century barn on a working smallholding, set down a quiet lane with 17 acres of grounds that include woodland paths, an enclosed children's play area, and a dedicated 5-acre dog run field—space that makes it unusually good for families travelling with pets.

Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living space has a wood burner, freeview television and DVD player. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking: gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Bedroom one has a four-poster double bed; bedroom two has bunks. A wet room with shower and grab rail serves the property. Parking for two cars sits on site, and a shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is available. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi—are included; pets stay free, and the farm shop on the smallholding sells basics.

The cottage suits couples or families wanting a seaside base without the bustle of the nearby resorts. Amroth beach and Pendine Sands are both within reach for swimming or walking. No smoking indoors.

Spent a week here recently. The Nook was absolutely lovely- so cozy and comfy. Immediately felt like home. Really well thought out and really dog friendly. Pembrokeshire is stunning and this is in a great location to see it. Highly recommended.

Wow!!! What can I say. Absolutely stunning! What a beautiful place. We stayed in The Granary Barn for a week. Home from home. The cottage was beautiful, cozy, secluded and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings with gorgeous beaches close by. Lee and Abi were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The beautiful little touches like the Bara Brith and Welsh cakes were a lovely welcoming touch. Winston enjoyed the use of your dog blanket and loved his little treats too. We loved every minute of it and certainly didn't want to leave. We will definitely be coming back. I would 100% recommend Coastal Wood Holidays to anyone. Lee and Abi..... THANK YOU x See you again soon Kelly,Paddy,Erin,Iris(17months)and Winston Xxxxxx
