Maesydderwen Holiday Cottages - Kingfisher
Carmarthenshire
View on Google MapsLlandeilo and the Brecon Beacons draw walkers, cyclists and anyone seeking space in the Welsh countryside. Maesydderwen Holiday Cottages occupies 25 acres of woodland and open ground here, a collection of converted farm buildings now let as holiday homes. Kingfisher is one of these properties: a three-bedroom cottage sleeping up to 10 people, privately yours for the duration of your stay.
The ground-floor layout suits families or groups who want to move easily between spaces. Three bedrooms include a double with two singles and bunks (the latter designated for children), each with its own ensuite or access to a shower room. The open-plan living and dining area has a television and electric fire. The kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch—electric range, dishwasher, microwave and the usual appliances. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. On the patio outside, garden furniture comes as standard; the hot tub (for six) is private to the property.
The grounds are shared with the owners, who live on-site, and other holiday lets. Within them are woodland, a stream and a dispond 32 yards from the cottage; banks slope in places and a disused quarry lies in the wider grounds. You have private parking for four cars and a bike store. Nick Membery Pottery is nearby if you're interested in crafts. Llandeilo's shops, restaurants and pubs are under four miles away. No smoking inside the property.

We spent the Easter weekend here on Owl Cottage with our dogs. This is the 2nd time we have been. It's absolutely beautiful, relaxing and picturesque. Angela & Shaun are super helpful and are on hand all the time if you need them. We didn't want to leave! We will be back soon ❤️
