Ty Newydd - Swallows Nest

Everything at Swallows Nest is on the ground floor. You walk into an open-plan living and dining space with a 30-inch Freeview TV, then through to a kitchen equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. One bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), the other two singles (3ft each). The shower room has a cubicle shower and heated towel rail. An enclosed lawn wraps around the property with a decked balcony, garden furniture and BBQ; a bike store and parking for two cars are on site. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included.

The lodge sits in rural grounds near Llandeilo, within a small holding where horses, sheep, chickens and ducks live alongside. Llandeilo itself—three miles away—has independent shops, pubs, cafés and a growing reputation for food. Dinefwr Castle and Park (National Trust) and Newton House are close by; so are Dolaucothi Gold Mines, the Gwili steam railway and several other castles. Brechfa Forest and the Brecon Beacons offer walks, cycling and birdwatching. Beaches along the Carmarthenshire coast are within reach. One pet is welcome; smoking is not permitted inside.
