We had a lovely stay here. Great location, and right above the bar/restaurant. Rooms are very cosy, bathrooms are clean and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were crisp and fresh. The staff are super friendly, and gave us a comprehensive overview of the room. Overall a very nice stay.

This place was so wonderful! A true travel highlight for us. The check-in process was a bit different than other hotels, but still easy and quick. First, we were able to get lucky with street parking for our rental car. After that, we went into Ownie's next door and checked in at the bar. The nice woman showed us up to the Onyx room(with a sea view), gave us the keys and a quick tour of the room. The bed was absolutely divine. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We had a mini fridge, hair dryer, tea, water, toiletries..... You name it, we loved it. Being able to walk right out the front door and have everything in walking distance was so convenient. We didn't touch the car until checkout. If I had one complaint? The street noise. And I mean only the street noise. Even though Ownie's is next door, you couldn't hear the live music or anything. But. People on the street? Yep. Every conversation on the street...every cough...every sneeze. Ugh. It was very clear why they provide ear plugs. But, luckily, it didn't affect our sleep. I guess because we were just so tired and the bed was SO comfy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was such a great value and a lovely stay. Thank you the whole staff that made it possible!

Another great night. Lovely food. Good crack and pub with live band playing good music. The breakfast is first class and all the staff are very friendly.

Stayed at Walters Place this weekend. Cannot speak highly enough of the service, cleanliness and quality of the accommodation here, it's excellent, room was beautifully decorated! Breakfast next day was fabulous too, special mention to our fab breakfast host Jack, nothing was too much trouble! Will definitely stay here again!
