We came for bird handling experience and left completely inspired and amazed! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the birds absolutely stunning. The handling was great and we managed to get lots of photos. The kids have enjoyed it as well. Please book the experience directly with them and not third party

Visited World of Wings to take some photos and ended up having a much better time than I expected. First thing to mention — there’s plenty of parking, and if you’re like me and wander around wondering where the entrance is, the main exhibit is actually inside the cafe, so head straight in. They run flight shows at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, each with different birds, so it’s worth sticking around for more than one if you can. The shows are great fun, with some of the birds flying low and getting really close to the audience. It’s a genuinely nice place for families. There’s a small but interesting selection of birds, and the trainers/carers are lovely — you can tell they really care about the animals. They also offer loads of activities and experiences (all listed on their website), but I just went for a casual visit this time. From a photography point of view, this place is a gem. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to practice manual focus. Some birds stay still in open areas, which makes them ideal subjects, and the flight shows give you plenty of chances to catch birds in motion. I got some great shots and definitely want to go back for more. Overall, a really enjoyable visit — relaxed, friendly, and full of photo opportunities. I’ll be returning for another round of pictures soon.

This was booked for my birthday as I have always been fascinated by birds of prey, and this place did not dissapoint, we got to handle the birds,of course under the watchful eye of are all knowledgeable world of wings handler (sorry I can't remember her name) she was amazing though, really loves her job and you can see that she loves the animals just as equally if not more. Honestly if you get the chance to do this I would highly recommend world of wings to anyone, staff all through out the experience were just lovely, friendly and chatty. Brilliant birthday thank you all so much, special thanks to rouge the buzzard for not ripping my arm off when she tried to fly away 😀

Booked a vulture experience for my 18 year old and friend who are already well experienced with birds, absolutely incredible birds and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The vultures were so friendly and confident. All the birds we saw at the centre were very healthy and well looked after. Extremely knowledgeable falconer who answered all of our questions. The general public shows were also really interesting and informative with an amazing opportunity to see a golden eagle in flight. Well worth a visit!
