What visitors say
Stayed for 1 night in my own vehicle. Communication regarding the booking was excellent. Good setup for motorhomes, camper vans, car tents, car camping, tents, etc. Toilets and showers onsite were clean and functional. Hairdryer in the shower block was an added bonus! There was also a launderette and waste water facilities, which I didn't use. Good security and 5mph speed limit throughout. The main gate is locked at a certain time at night by there is a keypad just back from the entrance and a gate code is provided to you. Most of the site is residential "mobile homes"/static caravan type, but also a reasonable number of short term pitches. Very quiet, so no problem with sleeping or being woken up unexpectedly. Also close to a co-op so easy to pick up supplies, as needed. Some nice walks nearby too.

Clean well maintained holiday park. Good links into Glasgow. Park is within an over 50s gated community. Very quiet in January. Stayed a month due to building works at own property. Pet friendly accomodation had everything needed for comfortable stay.

In the process of readying myself for a relocation and took a static caravan here for 4 weeks. Had never done anything like it and have two dogs so was unsure how it would all go. Firstly, the grounds are STUNNING. The team clearly invest a lot of time to keep it that way. The static caravan was idealic and we stayed out for the way which is a relief when you are worried about yappy dogs annoying neighbors! At a stressful time, this was a little slice of lovely respite. I was genuinely sad to leave! Cant recommend enough. Grounds are lovely, caravans are well kept and the team are top notch if you have an issue. Also, you'll frequently see red deer which is lovely . Co-op is nearby, bannatyne gym is a 15 minute walk, lots of gorgeous woodland walk options if you have pups. I'm currently still a month or two out from moving and genuinely thinking of going back for a bit. 10/10

Not family friendly and way too expensive: I stayed at the campsite with my son. However, I really cannot recommend going there with children. There were cigarette butts all over our pitch which were removed after the staff members rejected my inquiry twice. Also the family bathroom was locked and I ad to ask over and over again until it was opened. There was only one shower for all men staying at our side of the campsite. No playground. The train, the reason why I chose this campsite, only runs once per hour.
