Afan Holiday Cottages - Derwen Haidd

Derwen Haidd is a five-bedroom cottage that comes ready to use: electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included, so you arrive to a functioning home rather than a to-do list. The kitchen has an electric cooker, range, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Washing machine and tumble dryer are in the utility room. You get a hot tub for eight in the back garden, along with seating and a barbecue, plus parking for three cars.

The property spreads across three floors. On the lower ground is a games room. The ground floor holds the kitchen and dining space, a sitting room with wood burner and smart TV, plus a single bedroom and separate toilet. Upstairs are four more bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite bathroom, a double, and two singles (one room has two beds). There's also a family bathroom with both bath and shower. One of the single bedrooms downstairs has direct access to a separate toilet, useful for large groups. A travel cot and stairgate are available if you need them.

The cottage is near Aberystwyth and welcomes one pet. It's a no-smoking property and suits families or groups of friends wanting their own space for a week. The garden setup means you can eat outside when the weather allows.
