Cardigan Bay Cottages - Hafan Dawel

Hafan Dawel is a ground-floor cottage on the Cardigan Bay coastline near Felinwynt, with both bedrooms and bathrooms on the same level as the living space. The layout centres on an open-plan kitchen and living area with patio doors that lead directly onto a terrace; from there you can see the sea, and access the private hot tub which sits in a sunken area with unobstructed views. One bedroom has a kingsize bed and en-suite shower room, as does the other. A sofa bed in the living room brings sleeping space for a sixth guest. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals, and essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.

Outside, the front garden offers a sitting-out space, terrace, barbecue and firepit. You have private parking for three cars. The cottage is one of two holiday homes on the property, adjacent to the owner's house. One dog is welcome to stay at no extra cost, though smoking is not permitted inside.

Aberporth, a coastal village with pubs, cafés and beaches, is five minutes' drive away. Mwnt Beach, a National Trust property, lies further along the coast. Within the hamlet itself there's a play barn and café. The nearest beach is within walking distance for families wanting to build sandcastles or explore rock pools.
