About Mwnt Camping
Tucked into the Ceredigion countryside near Cardigan, Mwnt Camping is a small, eco-minded site where spacious meadow pitches come with their own fire pits and the company of free-roaming ducks and chickens. The facilities are spotless—hot showers, flushing and compost loos, plus a well-equipped washing-up area with communal fridges, freezers and charging points. Fresh eggs and homemade crepes are often on offer, adding a welcome touch of local flavour.
The vibe is peaceful and unhurried, perfect for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts exploring the dramatic coastline and nearby trails. Note that pets aren't allowed, so it's one to bear in mind if you're travelling with a dog. Pitches are non-electric, keeping things properly back-to-basics, and the welcoming owners help make it the sort of place where doing very little feels entirely justified.

What visitors say
We stayed for one night at this idyllic campsite and managed to get a pitch for our tents at the very top of the field with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding hills. The pitches are very well spaced out so we had privacy and quiet. It was an ideal spot for stargazing with no light pollution. The campsite facilities include a very clean kitchen with fridge and charging facilities and lovely hot showers. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were also compost loos further up the site. The owners are helpful and friendly and we loved the ducks and atmospheric stone circle. Very highly recommended for a tranquil stay five minutes drive from a beautiful protected beach.

The best camp site ive ever been to, from the moment you enter the site its so lovely seeing the diffrent types of ducks and chickens. The owners/staff where kind and quick to welcoming me and my partner. The facilities are very clean and beautifuly decorated. The pitches are very spacious and almost private. The moutain veiws make such a tranquil and relaxing expierence, along with the distant sound of farm animals. This campsite is perfect for people looking for a relaxing get away from all the hussle of the modern world and allows you to find peace within all the calm of west wales. 1000% would go again come rain or sunshine this campsite is elite! From billy and storm, thankyou for an amazing stay🩷⛰️☀️🌾🦆🐤

The most pretty quiet camp.lovely people. Great location to walk to Mwnt and coastal path.Love the vibe here for a more planet friendly way to camp. The owners have obviously done a lot of work planting hedges, trees etc and have put a lot of thought into what they do.Clean and good facilities, ice packs freezing, good showers and loos , recycling and phone charging. So relaxing to be around the free range ducks and chickens, eggs to buy too. Would definitely return if in this area again, thank you!

We stayed in your adorable caravan, which was so well appointed. Everything we needed was there. The site itself is just gorgeous, such a blend of of beautiful paths through beautiful wild areas. The ducks and chickens were an added bonus! Thank you. I will certainly be back! Emma
