Craigfryn sits on Nine Oaks Angling and Holiday Centre, a working fishery with six lakes stocked for both coarse and fly fishing. The fishing is included in your stay, and equipment can be hired on-site if you need it. The bungalow itself is a single-storey property with everything on one floor: a double bedroom, ensuite shower room, and a living space that opens to the kitchen. You get a Smart TV, electric cooker, microwave and air fryer for cooking, and a grassed garden with access to a shared picnic area. One parking space is allocated to the property. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered.
The hamlet sits just over four miles from Aberaeron, a Georgian harbour town with coloured-washed buildings, small independent shops, galleries and restaurants clustered around the waterfront. New Quay, another seaside village with beaches and cafés, is five miles away. The Ceredigion coast stretches across 60 miles and includes walking routes along clifftops, the coastal path, and quieter coves managed by the National Trust where seals are sometimes spotted. The river Aeron supports salmon and sea trout fishing, and boat trips from the harbours can take you out to look for dolphins and other marine life. Cycles can follow Wales Cycle Trails in the area, or you can walk inland past weirs and along the river valley. No smoking is permitted in the property.
