This stone cottage occupies its own 10 acres of grounds dotted with lakes and wildflower meadows, a mile from the nearest road. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for two cars on site. One small dog can stay at no extra cost, and the meadows offer space to explore—though there is an unfenced lake 50 yards from the house, which matters if you have young children.
Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living area combines kitchen, dining and sitting space around a wood-burning stove, with a separate utility room for washing. Three bedrooms—one double and two singles—share a shower room. You get Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen, towels and electricity included. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and there's a patio with garden furniture and barbecue overlooking the lawned front garden.
Tregaron village is three miles away for supplies and the pub. Nearby are the Cors Caron nature reserve with its wheelchair-accessible boardwalk and the Ystwyth Trail, a cycle route along a disused railway. Further out lie Devil's Bridge waterfalls, the Hafod estate and 60 miles of Ceredigion coastline with beaches and quiet coves around Aberaeron, New Quay and Aberystwyth. No smoking in the property.
